    HSI has developed a flexible outsourcing model that enables us to assume full responsibility for (1) new system development using RAD, waterfall or a client’s own process, (2) critical system support, (3) bug fix and lower priority problem resolution and (4) ongoing maintenance and enhancements of application systems across most mainframe, client/server and network platforms.

    Wherever practical and technically feasible, HSI’s offshore outsourcing partnerships provide cost effective solutions that deliver higher satisfaction than traditional offshore service providers operating on their own. Leveraging the individual strengths and abilities of each partner enables us to create a Best of Breed service delivery capability.

    Our differentiator is in HSI’s knowledge base. By placing our own senior, industry-experienced teams onsite in the roles of project manager, business analyst and end user interface, we eliminate the cultural and communications difficulties associated with offshore outsourcing. Our onsite teams excel in knowledge transfer, completing this critical function in about half the time required by traditional offshore outsourcers. HSI ensures the quality and continuity of our offshore partnerships by requiring our partners to be ISO9001 and SEI/CMM level 4 certified.

    If offshore is not an acceptable alternative our model allows us to deliver the same high levels of service while keeping the work onshore. We combine the same onsite team model with US-based offsite technical centers managed by HSI or an established IT services partner. In either case, we apply the same stringent development methodologies and quality assurance measures to ensure that service level commitments and delivery dates are consistently met or exceeded.
